What is Annual Travel Insurance?*
Designed for people who usually enjoy two or more trips a year, Annual Multi-trip Travel Insurance offers comprehensive cover over 12-months . Rather than purchasing separate Single Trip Travel Insurance policies for each holiday, this option protects all your travels over a 12-month period .
For those planning multiple getaways, opting for annual cover ensures you’re protected for an unlimited number of trips, without the hassle of arranging separate policies. This could potentially save you both time and money.
Advantages of Annual Multi-Trip Cover
There are plenty of reasons to choose Multi-trip Insurance if you’re taking more than one trip in the next twelve months. These include:
- Convenience – You’ll be covered for all your holidays under the same annual policy, rather than having to get a new insurance quote each time you go away.
- Save money – If you’re taking multiple trips, you may find that Annual Travel Insurance is cheaper than buying multiple new single trip policies every time*.
- Continuous cover – Renew your Annual Multi-trip Insurance each year to make sure you have the same comprehensive cover, no matter how many getaways you have planned.

How much is Annual Travel Insurance?
The price of annual multi-trip cover depends on a number of factors , including:
- Your age – As you age, the cost of your travel cover may increase.
- Your destination – The cost of medical treatment varies around the world, and this is reflected in the price of our policies.
- Any pre-existing conditions – Your policy premium will depend on the medical conditions you declare. Some conditions are more likely to lead to a claim, or to higher cost claims. Even if they increase the price, it’s important to always declare any pre-existing conditions.
- The cover level you choose – We offer a range of policies with different cover levels to suit your trip. The less cover you need, the cheaper your Annual Travel Insurance will be. It’s important to make sure you choose a policy with cover that meets your needs and requirements.

Frequently asked questions
Is it better to get Annual Travel Insurance?
Depending on how often you’re travelling throughout the year, opting for an annual policy can potentially save you money and spare you the inconvenience of arranging Single Trip Insurance for each individual trip. However, you should consider your own needs and circumstances.*
Can I get 12-month Travel Insurance?
An Annual Travel Insurance plan provides cover for a full 12 months, for trips up to the duration indicated on your travel documents, please see PDS for full details. For longer adventures, exceeding this duration, consider opting for a Single Trip policy, which can cover trips lasting up to 365 days.
How does Annual Travel Insurance work?

When can you buy your Annual Policy?
You can buy an Annual Travel Insurance policy up to 90 days before you travel.
